ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza: A Stay Review

Translated from my original Japanese post (2022). 日本語の原文を読む →

Yoko here, hotel-dwelling gourmet hunter @foodie_yoko! I live in hotels and eat out 365 days a year.

This time I came to stay at ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza!
ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza is one of the brands of Accor, a French hotel group.
By the way, Accor Hotels recently seems to have changed its name to ALL (Accor Live Limitless).

Location of ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza

7-10-9 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0061
03-5537-3133

It's a hotel right in the middle of Ginza, one of Tokyo's prime districts, with GINZA SIX and more close by.
It's a 5-minute walk from Ginza Station and Higashi-Ginza Station, and close to Shimbashi Station too!

The Lobby of ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza

The exterior has a pop design, with a fluorescent green logo that glows.

Inside the hotel, I spotted a manga bookshelf in the lobby! That's quite unusual for a business hotel.

Since I had booked through Accor's official channel as a member, I got complimentary mineral water at check-in.
I was assigned room 820 on the 8th floor.

Rooms at ibis Styles Ginza

Somehow the key card is stylish. It says "Entrez" (come in) in French.
The room isn't that big, but it's clean!

What stands out about ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza is the bathroom. The lights are dimmable. If you wake up in the middle of the night and need the toilet, you can keep it dim, a nice little feature. The bathtub is egg-shaped and, while not large, is designed to feel spacious. The toilet has a bidet seat from a maker called Uspa, which is full-featured, with adjustable water temperature and even a kids' button!

On the bed there are two cushions that are handy for lying back, and the desk has a mirror and a height-adjustable chair with a backrest.

The bedside has a dimmable light and an outlet, so you can lounge around watching your phone lol
The TV is a bit small, but well placed for viewing.

The loungewear is a gray one-piece with the ibis Styles logo. Gray hides stains well, which is nice!
I changed right away and drank the Wilkinson sparkling water that came as a welcome drink.

The hotel guide printed on the key card says you can borrow up to five manga at a time lol
It seems you can also borrow items like blankets!
The view from the window was of the Sotetsu Fresa Inn across the street.
You can see into each other's rooms, so it's a little hard to open the curtains, but the road is fairly wide, so it's bright and doesn't feel closed in!

The hotel also has a coin laundry, so I think it's good for long stays too!

Who ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza Is Good For

It has a coin laundry, you can read manga, and it's close to Ginza, so I recommend it for business trips and sightseeing in small groups! If you're curious, give it a try!
