Breakfast Buffet at Aloft Tokyo Ginza

I'm Yoko, a gourmet hunter who lives in hotels, @foodie_yoko. I spend 365 days a year living in hotels and eating out.
I've been staying my way through Tokyo's hotels, and this time I stayed at Aloft Tokyo Ginza while working on my Marriott Platinum status, and came down for breakfast!
You can read my room review here.
Breakfast at THE WARE HOUSE, Aloft Tokyo Ginza
Breakfast is served at the hotel's restaurant, "THE WARE HOUSE."

Breakfast menu
Breakfast works as a choice of two types: a heavier one and a lighter one.

The lighter option is ¥2,420 for just the buffet plus soup.
The heavier one is ¥3,630 and you pick from these three:
Egg dish + soup + side dish + rice if you like
or
Bagel sandwich + soup
or
Onigiri (rice balls) + miso soup + pickles + rolled omelet
My stomach was in terrible shape that day, so I figured I'd go with the lightest option, the soup... but I ended up choosing an egg dish anyway! lol

For the egg dish you can choose from fried eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, poached eggs, or an omelet.
For the side dish you pick two from bacon, crispy bacon, pork sausage, chicken sausage, and ham, and it comes with soup or miso soup.
If that's not enough, you can order rice too.
Drinks and everything else you fetch yourself from the buffet.

This is the cereal corner.

And this is the fruit juice corner. All of the juices looked high-end!
There were so many kinds that it was hard to choose.

The bread corner: sliced bread, croissants, coupe rolls, muffins, and more. Normally I can eat a couple, but that day I had no room at all, so I skipped it, lol

They had doughnuts too, a familiar sight at Marriott Bonvoy hotels.

This was all I ended up taking from the buffet: salad, yogurt, and fruit.
I could manage the juice, at least, so I had a little tomato juice and a little peach juice.

For the main egg dish I kept it simple with a fried egg. The soup was pumpkin soup.
It came with two eggs and something like hash browns, so it felt more filling than I expected.
I wondered if onigiri is the most popular choice at Aloft Tokyo Ginza breakfast, because when I looked around, lots of people were eating them. I couldn't manage one that day, so I really regret it, lol
Next time I stay, I think I'll have the onigiri!
Who Aloft Tokyo Ginza is good for
Aloft Tokyo Ginza is close to Ginza and convenient for sightseeing!
The interior is pop and fun, and you can enjoy cutting-edge art such as projection mapping.
Breakfast has plenty of Japanese and Western options, and the wide choice of juices might delight kids.
It's a good hotel for business trips and for families with kids, so if you're curious, give it a try!
